Green Mangrove Safari was started with one simple goal: to help travelers experience the real beauty of the Sundarban forest without paying high commissions to city middlemen or rushing through crowded tours.
With our main office located at Gosaba and tourist boat point at Godkhali, we own and manage our own fleet of tourist boats, partnered riverside resorts, and a friendly local team who has navigated these tidal rivers for generations.
Over the past 14 years, we have hosted more than 18,500 travelers—including families with kids, elderly parents, solo bird watchers, and office groups—giving everyone tasty meals, comfortable stays, and safe river safaris.

When I started Green Mangrove Safari 14 years ago, I had one clear belief: visiting the world's largest mangrove forest should be an authentic, relaxing experience—not a commercial rush handled through middlemen.
Growing up along the tidal rivers of Godkhali, these waterways and mangroves have been our way of life. That is why we personally own and operate our boats, train local island cooks, and ensure every traveler—from senior citizens to young kids—receives genuine warmth, hot home-style meals, and top-tier river safety.
